Los Angeles-based DJ and producer Skrillex was named MTV’s Electronic Dance Music Artist of the Year in 2011, and won three Grammys out of five nominations in 2012, including Best Dance/Electronica Album for ‘Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites’. The former frontman of post-hardcore band From First to Last went solo in 2008 and has since worked with huge artists ranging from Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull to the surviving members of the Doors.
