Fans from 37 regions around the world have picked their favourite local artists to advance in the Worldwide Act race! Find out who made the cut…

From Africa to Australia, from Brazil to Belgium, from China to Canada…music fans everywhere have spoken! The competition for the 2013 MTV EMA for Worldwide Act began with a field of 186 artists hailing from no less than 51 countries. Now, that staggering array of nominees has narrowed to 37, thanks to their passionate local fan bases.

Among the honourees are a handful of internationally known stars. But most of our local EMA winners are acts with a passionate local following. They all have one thing in common: They're EMAzing artists, and they're in the running for the Worldwide Act award!

From 25 to 31 October, local winners from 10 regions—Africa/India/Middle East; North, South, Central and East Europe; Japan/Korea; Latin America; North America; and Southeast Asia/Mainland China/Hong Kong/Taiwan—will compete for a Worldwide Act nomination.
