Voting Is Open for the 2011 MTV EMA!
The nominees are in! Now it’s up to you, the voters, to decide who wins!
We know you’ve been eagerly waiting for this moment for months—and it’s finally here! MTV has revealed the nominees for the 2011 EMA, held 6th November in Belfast!
Leading the talented pack of nominated artists—who span rock, pop, hip-hop, alternative, and practically everything in between—is Lady Gaga, with six nominations. Katy Perry and Bruno Mars tied with four nods. And Adele, Justin Bieber, and Thirty Seconds To Mars each scored three. Other artists who made the cut include Foo Fighters, Snoop Dogg, My Chemical Romance, Jennifer Lopez, LMFAO, Jessie J, Beyoncé, Coldplay, Eminem, Arcade Fire, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Far East Movement, Kanye West, Linkin Park, Wiz Khalifa, and Kings of Leon, with two nominations each—plus many more!
And this year, we’ve got two new prizes up for grabs.
First, the Biggest Fans award will recognize the artist with the most passionate fan base. Along with voting for the nominees, you can also join a Fan Team right here on mtvema.com and earn additional points to support your favourite nominee!
Plus, for the very first time, we’re giving out the Worldwide Act EMA. After voters select their favourite local artists, their picks will go head-to-head with other artists from all over the globe to take the title!
