RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS TO PLAY SPECIAL 60 MINUTE SET AT
ULSTER HALL IN BELFAST AS PART OF 2011 MTV EMA

LONDON / NEW YORK – 17 October 2011. The Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced that Ulster Hall will be the location of their performance for the MTV EMA. The band they will play a special 60 minute set with one song being broadcast within the 2011 MTV EMA. Door will open at 5:00PM and there will be no admission after 5:40PM. Show begins at 6PM sharp.
Currently on a sold out European arena tour and fresh off the release of their latest chart-topping album I’m With You, these legendary funk rockers from California are guaranteed to give fans in Belfast – and MTV audiences around the world – an unforgettable performance that will show why they continue to be one of the biggest rock acts on the planet. The “2011 MTV EMA” will premiere on MTV on Sunday, November 6th at 9PM GMT* from Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Tickets for this special 2011 MTV EMA event at the Ulster Hall will go on sale on sale Saturday, October, 22nd at 9AM from The Ulster Hall Box Office ONLY. Tickets are £42.40 Sterling including booking fee and there will be a MAXIMUM 2 ticket limit per person.
“We haven’t played in Belfast in a long time, to be able to perform in such a historic location for music is something we are very much looking forward to!” the band said.
